Barbara Doser’s natural aggregate transformation – liquid acrylic paint transformed into hardened acrylic paint – shows the calculable final state as the desired end point. The unusual thing about it is that the acrylic paint does not dry when applied as two-dimensional information on a painting surface, but is brought to harden in three dimensions with the potential of the information in shapes such as buckets or similar.

… die Skulpturen des Werkzyklus Aggregattransformation geben in ihrer Ästhetik den Einfluss von Zeit auf Materie wieder.  Von flüssig zu fest.  Im täglichen Leben oftmals ein Albtraum, wenn sich dadurch Materie ihrer zugedachten Nutzbarkeit entzieht.

Barbara Dosers natürliche Aggregattransformation – flüssige Acrylfarbe transformiert in ausgehärtete Acrylfarbe –  zeigt den kalkulierbaren Endzustand als angestrebten Endpunkt. Das ungewöhnlich daran ist, dass die Acrylfarbe nicht auf einem Malgrund als zweidimensionale Information aufgetragen dort trocknet, sondern mit dem Potenzial der Information in Formen wie Kübel oder Ähnlichem dreidimensional zum Aushärten gebracht wird.
