The story of this series of photos is this: The benches made for the exhibition „HOFSTETTER KURT | New Arrivals – New Arrivals“ are ready in the exhibition space of the Kunstraum Bregenz. White, like everything in this exhibition, packed in PE stretch film, a useful tool to preserve aesthetics.
Removed from the benches and stripped of their protective function, the stretch film becomes the subject of a series of photos and thus itself an aesthetic object that fascinates. The polluting effect of the PE film on the environment is fatal.

Die Geschichte dieser Fotserie ist die: In den Ausstellungsräumlichkeiten des Kunstraum Bregenz stehen die angefertigten Sitzbänke für die Ausstellung „HOFSTETTER KURT | New Arrivals – Neuankömmlinge“ bereit. Weiss, wie alles in dieser Ausstellung, verpackt in PE-Stretchfolie, ein nützliches Tools um Ästhetik zu bewaren.
Von den Bänken abgenommen und ihrer Schutzfunktion entledigt wird die Stretchfolie zum Motiv einer Fotoserie und damit selbst zum ästhetischen Objekt, das fasziniert. Die verschmutzende Wirkung der PE-Folie auf die Umwelt ist fatal.
